Fires in the Napa Region, Timeline & Updates

As wildfires continue to burn through Napa and Sonoma Counties the safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority.

Timeline of Events:

Monday, October 16, 2017

11:00AM

The Atlas Fire is 88% contained. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort will begin welcoming guests Thursday October 19th.

7:00AM

The Atlas Fire is 60% contained (as of 10/15) and air quality has greatly improved in Napa Valley.

RiverPointe Napa Valley is still being utilized by CalFire employees.

Management is onsite determining when we will reopen for check-ins to accommodate guests. There has been no damage to the resort, and Housekeeping and Maintenance are onsite preparing the resort to welcome guests.

 

Friday, October 13, 2017

The Atlas Fire is 27% contained and Red Flag conditions will remain in effect through the weekend.

RiverPointe Napa Valley is still being utilized by CalFire employees.

Management plans to return to the property on Sunday to determine when we will reopen for check-ins to accommodate guests.

 

Thursday, October 12, 2017

RiverPointe Napa Valley has been placed under an Advisory Evacuation zone, and CalFire employees are utilizing the cottages. According to CalFire the fire remains active, however winds are calmer than expected. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates. Air quality continues to remain extremely poor.

All guests and associates are accounted for and have evacuated safely.

 

Wednesday, October 11, 2017

A Red Flag warning went into effect at 5:00PM and RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort remained evacuated. Air quality remained poor.

Calls have been made to owners and guests who have upcoming stays with us and we are offering refunds for those who choose to cancel. If you have an upcoming reservation please contact the call center at (866) 325-6295.

In the best interest of guest and associate safety we voluntarily evacuated RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort.

Air quality in the area remained poor and flames could be seen from the resort. Cell service throughout the county continued to be minimal.
